Does Weigh Safe Hitch Receiver Lock # WS05 Have Weight Capacity
Question:
Can you tell me the weight rating of the Locking Hitch Pin, Item #WS05. The hitch pin that came with the truck is stamped 21,000 and the owners manual warns against using any pin that is not rated the same. Id hate to have a pin fail. Thank you.

The Weigh Safe Hitch Receiver Lock # WS05 does not have a weight capacity. Reason being hitch pins don't typically bear any of the weight of the trailer since the tongue weight of the trailer presses so hard down on the ball mount it pins it to the hitch tube.
