Could Male 7-Way be Wired to Front of 2014 Honda CR-V for Charging Battery When Flat Towing
Question:
I want to add a separate 7 blade MALE connector on the front of my towed vehicle - a 2014 CRV - that already has a flat four male connector already in place. The new 7 blade would plug into that, and would need additional wiring that would allow me to connect up a battery charger to the towed vehicle that draws off the RV through it. Cant seem to find something like this. There are adapter plugs, but none with the additional wire for the charger.

We have a 7-way with a 6 foot long harness part # H20044 that you could use to wire up like you mentioned. We don't have a more specific way to install a male 7-way on the front of a vehicle though so this would be your best option.
The white and black wires of this have the heaviest gauge wire at 10 gauge so that would be the best to use for running to the battery.
