The Thule T2 Classic 2 Bike Platform Rack # TH9044 and the Thule T2 Pro XTB 2 Bike Platform Rack # TH9034XT are very similar. The differences are in the maximum wheelbase being 2-1/2 inches longer totaling 50-1/2 inches and there being more space between bikes on the Pro XT model. The Pro XT will end up being about 2 lbs heavier due to that.
Both of these bike racks will work very well for hybrid bikes up to 60 lbs each and mountain bikes. Both have wheel trays able to hold tires up to 5 inches wide for fat bike compatibility as well. Both are expandable with the Classic using # TH9046 and the Pro XT using # TH9036XT.
