How to Fix Brake and Turn Signals Not Working on Work-N-Play Trailer

I have a work n play that the brake and turn signals are not working. Replaced with new light and still nothing

Sometimes replacing the lights on your trailer will fix the problem you are experiencing but this is typically the cause of a bad ground or damaged wiring. You can determine if the problem is on your tow vehicle or trailer by using a tester like part # PTW2993 and checking that the connector on your tow vehicle is working properly.

Check that your tow vehicle and trailer connectors are clean and free of debris. If you do need to clean them, I recommend applying Dielectric Grease # 11755 to help protect your connectors in the future.

Whether the issue is on your tow vehicle or trailer, the next step is moving on to your grounds. Make sure they are secure and installed on a clean, bare-metal surface. Even some paint can cause issues. If they look good, then you need to check the wiring on those circuits. Look for any sections that are broken, have exposed wiring, or are bent and replace as necessary.

I have attached a helpful article on troubleshooting lights for you to check out as well.
