Single or Tandem Axles for Homemade 24 ft x 98 Camper?

fabing a 24 ft x 98 camper what do you recommend for axles and would you go single or duel

Helpful Expert Reply:

Most campers that long are tandem axles so I would go that route. I took a look at some common GVWR's for campers of that size and it was in the 5,000 lb - 7,000 lb range so you need to keep that in mind; something like the 89" Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles # 8327830 might work.

You can also take a look at the help article I've added about where to position your trailer axle which should be useful.
