We have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 but cant tell if it is an hd or ld. There is no 1500 on the inside of the door. Dont know which front hitch to buy.

To find out if your 2004 Chevrolet 1500 is HD or LD you need to call your local Chevy dealer and simply give them your VIN. From there they will be able to tell you exactly what truck you have so it's pretty simple.
If you have a 1500 HD you want front hitch # # 65028. For the 1500 LD model you want front hitch # 65023.
