Question:
Hi. I have a 2004 Forest River Surveyor Ultra Lite travel trailer that came with one step that I have endured with for years. I do have an aluminum folding step that I use. When I bought the trailer I had it lifted about 4inch for more clearance,, I am looking at all the brands of replacement steps and it is very confusing. Is the bolt pattern standard for the replacement steps? My bolt pattern is 24 3/4inch or 25inch by 4. Is that standard? My treads is 8x24 with approximately an 8 1/2inch rise. The floor is 23 1/2inch off the ground. Also, I am 73 years old and need a better footing on the steps. Is there one brand/model that you would recommend over any others and why? Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you

The single step RV steps do have smaller mounting dimensions so if you are wanting to go with a double step to replace what you have what you'd need is the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Steps # LC432682 which is a double step that has a foot plate that provides solid traction. Since the mounting brackets of your RV are going to be too small you'll need outriggers too to go with this as part # LC301704 and you'll be set.
