Available Ladder Racks with Adjustable Height

Can you shorten the height of the racks

Some truck ladder racks like the Thule Xsporter Pro # TH500XT offer adjustable height but others like the Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 59799 do not. The Haul-Your-Might rack is fixed (not adjustable) but then again it comes in at roughly half the price of the Xsporter.
