Question:
Hello, can I flat tow a 2004 or 2006 GMC Yukon Denali? I own both years, and what tow bar system do you recommend?

Yes, you can flat-tow with all four wheels down a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali and a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali according to my research. The parts you will need to do so are a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, supplemental braking system, wiring harness, and a possible high-low adapter. I do recommend that you check each vehicle's owner's manual before getting started.
For a base plate kit I recommend the Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit part # 199-6 because it has removable arms which will make for a clean look while not in tow. For a tow bar that will work with this base plate kit and your Yukon I recommend the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain Tow Bar part # RM-422 as it has a self-aligning design for ease of use. For the safety cables I recommend Roadmaster Safety Cables part # RM-643 as the coiled design will prevent them from dragging the ground.
For a supplemental braking system I recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 as it will be almost completely hidden once installed. For the wiring harness I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267. The last thing you will possibly need is a high-low adapter which you will want to take a peek at the attached article to see if it will be necessary. If it is then I have also attached a list of options for you.
Please keep in mind that the above parts can be used for either your 2004 or 2006 Yukon.
