Installation of Trailer Hitch Where Exhaust Rattle is Possible
Question:
Hi, hitch 13144 on a 2014 subaru Forester 25i premium My mechanic thinks the muffler will hit the hitch unit just enough to cause a rattle. We hesitate to install it fpr this reason. DOES IT hit just enough to do this. Driving with a rattle will make me crazy! Please advise, thank you

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13144 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Subaru Forester 25i Premium. I can definitely appreciate the caution as a rattle would drive anyone crazy. We have not experience this with that particular installation, but there are also ways to ensure it doesn't happen. I've attached an article to assist so you can ensure you get the benefits of a hitch without any exhaust rattle.
