For your 2014 BMW X5, I recommend the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch # 13077. This Class III hitch is confirmed to fit your BMW X5 and will use existing holes in its frame for a no-drill installation. All of the necessary hardware is included.
The installation process for a hitch on your particular vehicle is relatively involved, but any local shop or mechanic with a good reputation should be able to handle it without issue. We do not have any specific shops that we recommend in the Pasadena area, but I have attached a couple of resources that may be helpful in obtaining an accurate estimate from an installer.
I have included the complete installation instructions that you can bring up to a shop so they can see exactly what is involved, along with an installation video on the 2016 model X5 (the process should be almost identical on your 2014). Curt estimates an install time of around 90 minutes for a professional.
With regards to the hitch itself, please note that Curt does require the use of a stabilizing strap # 18050 for any non-trailer load such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. I have attached a video demonstration on this strap so you can see how they are used.
