Correct Operator Arm Assembly for Existing Dome Lid and Ceiling Garnish for

We have a 2004 Fleetwod Terry Quantum AX6 37 5th Wheel with powered Ventline V2119 vent/dome in the bathroom ceiling. It is the rounder/flatter typeof dome, not the big wedge shaped dome. Operator arm is getting hung up in the housing because the metal housing is split at the seem appears a rivet came out and allows the arm to fall out of place and not mesh with the gears, although the motor and gears all work fine. Part #BVd0462-00 states Works with Ventline Ventadome roof vent models V2092, V2094 and V2119. The knob and screw wont be needed for model V2119, with electric lift. We have the V2119. The current operator arm is metal and seems to have a metal fastener on the end, not plastic. Will this still work? I looked on the Ventline website and their pdf file shows an operator arm BV0115-04 that seems to go with a round 14x14 dome lid. This one also comes with a knob. Can I remove/not use the knob here also? This one has a metal end on it, not plastic. Is it the right one? Is there another part I should use instead, and if so, what is the part number please? Are there installation instructions that come with the part that explain how to fasten it to the original dome lid? I also need a garnish. I see they telescope. Our rough out is slanted up with the roof, so one side is 3 3/8 and the other side is 4 1/4 deep. Will the telescoping VA00445-27 work? I appreciate any help you can offer.

The # V2119-3-533 Ventline Ventadome Roof Vents that we have in stock use a plastic sliding connector that installs on a plastic slide ramp built into the underside of the vent lid. The operator arm you suggested, # BVD0462-00, is the correct replacement for these roof vents, and the knob would not be used on the power lift model.

If your vent uses a metal fastener, you may need the Replacement Operator Arm, # BV0115-04, that uses a metal spring clip to attach to the underside of the vent lid. This style is normally used on the vents with metal lids like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent, # V2110SP-24.

If your vent uses a different style connector on the end of the operator arm, send me a photo and I will be glad to try to locate the correct operator arm for you.

For a Garnish you will need to purchase the Ceiling Garnish, # VA0445-28, which has a 4-1/4 inch leg and is adjustable for 3-7/8 inch to 5 inch thick roofs. You may need to trim this garnish to fit correctly with your angled roof application.
