Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Dodge Durango to Allow Use of Full Size Spare

Question:

I have read some reviews here and on Amazon that mention difficulty installing a full size spare with the C131812. One person mentioned having to let some air out of the full size spare to get it back in. That would seem to be counter productive since then you would have a spare that was low on air to start with. Another person said it took two people to replace the full size spare. One to work the winch and a second person to man handle the tire from beneath. A few others said it was doable but difficult. Any comments would be helpful. Thanks.

Your best option for your 2018 Dodge Durango would be the Draw Tite hitch part # 75713 as it fits a full size spare much easier than the Curt # C13182 you mentioned. I attached a picture of the hitch installed with a spare in place under the vehicle. I also attached an install video for this hitch as well.
