The Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Aluminum Ladder Rack # A4001666 has a 500-lb total weight capacity between its two bars. My tech contact there confirmed that this rack does not have a different dynamic weight rating if it is used to support a tent. It would retain the same full 500-lb weight rating even in this application.
With that said, do keep in mind that in normal use the load on a ladder rack (let's say its 500-lbs of lumber or pipe) would be well-secured to prevent movement of that load while you are in transit. If your tent would be mounted to the rack before you travel to your destination that could, depending on the specific tent, apply a good bit of force to the rack from wind. But if you are asking about movement of persons/pets inside the tent once you reach your destination that would let you keep the 500-lb rating.
