Can this be used with a rooftop carrier also? I was hoping to use one on the roof and this bag in the back. Is this possible? I have a 2011 Volvo xc60 without roof rails. Thank you.

You can definitely use the Rightline Gear Cargo Hatch Saddlebag # RL100B90 along with a bag like part # RL100S30 with your 2011 Volvo XC60 as long as you are not exceeding the weight capacity of your roof rack or vehicle (check your owner's manual). These carriers have a combined weight of 20 lbs so you will need to subtract that from your cargo total.
A roof rack is required for the Hatch Saddlebag. I recommend going with a Rhino-Rack option like part # RRVA126S-2 (silver) or # RRVA126B-2 (black) crossbars and SRB Legs # RRSX025 if you have flush factory rails, or Rhino-Rack the same crossbars and the 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA with DK Fit Kit # DK246 if you have a naked roof. The former options have a weight capacity of 165 lbs while the latter have a weight capacity of 130 lbs.
Be sure that you are careful to stay within all of the weight capacities of your vehicle.
