Can Just the Head of the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX be Rotated
Question:
Is there a way to rotate the jack so the tailgate from truck will open all the way. Right now with a 2018 Jayco Jay Flight 265 RLS the tailgate from my 2010 F 150 will not open. Tried pivoting it 120degress but one hole will not line up just 2. Can the head be rotated alone?? Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately the head of the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX cannot be rotated by itself. You will need to rotate the whole assembly like you tried and then drill a new hole to mount it properly.
You also could potentially use an extra long ball mount like part # BH20 to gain the clearance needed. This fits a 2" hitch receiver and is 13-1/4" long.
