Question:
Im considering the 4839120, the foldable tongue with surge brakes. What or how do I measure to figure out how much space length I will save? I have 24 inches from the frame of the trailer to the ball. 3x4 frame. I have a dual axle trailer with disc brakes and reverse lockout. Boat is about 5000 pounds.

The part of the Titan Swing-Away Actuator T4839120 that actually pivots is 21-1/2" long. You can cut off as much of your trailer tongue as you like and since the actuator pitots 21-1/2", that's how much space you will save, minus whatever you have remaining of your trailer tongue that you did NOT cut off.
Please keep in mind that for a 3"x4" trailer tongue you will also need a 1" Spacer # T4842100.
