Can LED and Incandescent Lights be Used at the Same Time on a Boat Trailer
Question:
the bulb in my current trailer light keeps losing contact, is loose in the socket. Im thinking of just changing to these LEDs rather than keep trying to rig it. I read one opinion that one should not mix incandescent and LED lights on the trailer. Is there a problem having LED taillights and incandescent marker lights everywhere else? Thanks

The issue with using LED lights like part # TLL160RK with incandescent lights is that LEDs draw much less power than incandescent lights. This can lead to inconsistent operation of the lights so it is always recommended to either have all incandescent or all LED.
If your LEDs are on a different circuit then you could use these with your current clearance lights, but if they are on the same circuit then you really need to have all of your lighting stay consistent.
