Best Way to Carry 3 Bikes and Cargo on a 2018 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Id like to use this extender with the Curt C18153 Cargo Carrier with the Curt Clamp on Bike Rack C18013 in between, attached to the extender shank. Im aware that this will cut the weight capacity in half. Im concerned about how long it all is when its put together tried it last night and it bouncing around and possibly breaking my Draw tite hitch receiver . Will this setup be ok? Please let me know what you think.

Hey Jim,
I don't recommend using the Hitch Extender # HE18 with your Curt Cargo Carrier # C18151 because it will sit out far enough out from your 2018 Honda Odyssey that it will be a concern since your van sits low.
For your application I recommend using the Yakima EXO Swing Away 2 Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier # Y54ZR for your 2 bikes and then grabbing the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MAL84AR and Pilot Roof Bike Rack # MPG2103 for your 3rd bike.
This solution will work best for you because the bike rack sits above the cargo carrier so it won't be sticking out as far as what you were initially asking about, plus it has a swing away section so you can swing all of the rack out of the way without unloading it so you can open up your rear hatch. The 3rd bike being loaded on top is the only way you'll be able to carry all 3 bikes outside your vehicle and still have a cargo basket.
