Wiring Harness For 2008 Toyota Highlander That Does Not Require Cutting or Splicing of Wires
Question:
I own a 2008 Highlander non-hybrid gasoline model with two wheel drive. It does not have the optional tow prep package. What, if any lighting hook-up is available that could be installed with out splicing wires?

The wiring harness you will need for your 2008 Toyota Highlander is the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118449. This wiring harness does not require any cutting or splicing of wires. It will plug into a connector under the dash and also under the floor panel in the back on the drivers side.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the wiring harness and a link to a video of the harness being installed on a 2008 Highlander.
