The Curt 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C40085 is made overseas, though we do have a similar hitch ball that is made in America, the B&W # BWHB94004.
Like the Curt hitch ball, the B&W is 2-5/16", has a 1-1/4" shank and a 30,000 lb towing capacity. The shank on the B&W is 2-1/2" long, which is 1/8" shorter than the shank on the Curt ball.
