Weight Capacity and Strength of Vacuum Cups on SeaSucker Monkey Bars
Question:
Do the folding bars have the same weight carrying capacity as the one piece solid bars? What is the expected durability of the suction cups? Is it any date on this aspect, for how long have been in the market?

Seasucker has been around since 2005, getting their start by mounting accessories to boats with vacuum cups. It was 2009 that they started putting things on cars, like bike and kayak racks. The Monkey Bars themselves, part # 298-SX6000B came out pretty recently in 2017.
Both types of the Monkey Bars are rated for 150 pounds and each vacuum cup is rated for up to 210 pound of pull strength. They're tested their accessores on cars at up to 140 mph. For a good demonstation on how strong the cups are take a look at the video I've attached with the VW bus. It's pretty impressive.
