While both the Draw-Tite # 24975 and EcoHitch # 306-X7333 that fit your 2018 VW Golf R model are quality hitches with a 1-1/4" receiver, 200 lb tongue weight capacity and 2,000 lb towing capacity there is really just one major difference.
That is that the EcoHitch is made of recycled materials and combines steel, stainless steel and aluminum while the Draw-Tite is simply made of steel.
