I have a 02 forest river Sierra toyhauler and I am looks to replace the landing gear . I measure in between rhe clamps and I get 18 1/2 and the length of the bar that’s attached to the clamps the bar is 32” long . It’s a single motor and want to get a dual . What landing gear would be the fit for my toyhauler . The hauler is 38ft and empty weights 9600 lb

In order to pick out a direct replacement for the landing gear on your 2002 Forest Rvier Sierra we would need to know the distance between the mounting brackets which in your case you came up with 18-1/2 inches. Otherwise you could just have the brackets removed from your trailer by a qualified welder and then install the brackets that come with the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162. Either way this landing gear set would work well for you, you just might have to have the brackets of your trailer removed and then install the brackets of the # BD500162.

I attached a picture that shows the dimensions that this landing gear set would fit with. That standard dimension is 17-1/2 inches so you might remeasure to be sure.

The jacks would be the correct replacement for Lippert, Venture, and Atwood landing gear, as well as those from a few other manufacturers. The sure way to tell is that if the distance between the mounting brackets (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket as shown in the diagram) is 17-1/2 inches. If this is the case, the landing gear should fit just fine.

If your frame clamps are instead 20-1/4 inches the Ultra Fab part # UF17-943010 would be a direct replacement.
