The Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT will allow you access to your rear hatch area provided that it can fit past the spare tire on your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler. To determine if it is a fit simply take a measurement from the center of your hitch pin hole to the farthest part of your spare tire. As long as that is less than 7.3" then it will fit and work great!
