Can the Hooks of the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 be Locked to Secure Bikes
Question:
Is there a way to lock the bikes with the adjustable hooks??

If you would like to lock your bikes to the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 and the XTC-2 to your receiver then you need to use the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031 to do so. If you just wanted a cable lock you can use part # e98891 instead.
A lot of people have been putting a padlock through the visible hole in the ratcheting arm mechanism and although it might look locked, my contact at Swagman said that is not what those are for and they shouldn't be used that way. Those holes actually are what the arms hang from when they are getting their protective coating.
