Can Hollywood Racks Bike Rack # HR1400 be Installed Initially as 2 Bike Rack
Question:
Can the Hollywood HR1400 be initially installed in the 2-bike configuration and the 2-bike extension added later? This would avoid having to lift the complete 74 pound rack during installation which would be a great benefit for my wife.

Yes, you can use the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider part # HR1400Z as just a 2 bike rack and then later expand it to a 4 bike rack if you wanted to. I attached a picture that shows the rack split apart for you to check out as well.
