Can Yakima Showdown Kayak Carrier Fit on Thule Crossbars

Question:

I have a Thule system with 60 inch bars they stick out about 6-8 inches or so on each side. From the video this looks to be too wide to have 2 of the Showdow units installed, am I correct?

The Yakima ShowDown part # Y04081 can fit Thule crossbars but the rack can't fit on roof racks that use door jambs as the attachment. So if your 2014 Honda has flush mounted roof rack that your Thule rack attaches too the Yakima Showdown part # Y04081 will fit.

Will Yakima Show Down #123022 attach to my Thule square cross bars...the old style square bars which were popular 15 years ago. Thanks, Tim

Yes, the Yakima ShowDown # Y04081 (I wasn't able to locate the specific model number you mentioned) is perfectly compatible with the older Thule square bars.
