Will RBW X-16 Fit Industry Standard Above Bed Rails on 2012 Ford F-250
Question:
I recently purchased a 5th wheel trailer that came with an RBW x16 hitch, but no rails or mounts. I like the straight-forward approach of the Reese Quick-Install kit # RP56016-53 but need to know if the rails will fit the RBW. Vehicle is 2012 Ford F250. Measurement of mounting pins on bottom of x16 hitch that slide into rails is 22 inch outside to outside of pins. Thanks!

The Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56016-53 will give your 2012 Ford F-250 industry-standard rails, allowing you to use fifth-wheel hitches that mount 22” front to back and either 20-5/8” or 29” wide.
From my research the RBW X-16 fifth wheel hitch will fit industry-standard rails but if you will want to take a quick measurement of the hitch legs from front to back as well as their width to verify this.
