Is Time Delay Feature on Go Power Transfer TS-30 Switch 34264403 Manual or Automatic
Question:
The manual for the Go Power 30A transfer switch refers to a “time delay bypass switch”. Where is it? The relay control circuit board has no switch on it.

The instructions for the Go Power Transfer Switch # 34264403 do refer to a "time delay module" that automatically gives generators a brief time to warm up and stabilize their output before it is connected to the load side of the system. This is not a switch you need to operate.
The automatic delay feature allows between 15 and 20 seconds for stabilization. I confirmed this with my contact at Go Power.
This feature can be bypassed but Go Power recommends leaving it active for safety reasons. Bypassing the delay requires modifications (soldering of a jumper wire) and details of this process can be obtained from Go Power.
