Cat-Back Exhaust System Recommendation for 2018 Chevy Colorado

Hello, my son just got a 2018 chevy colorado pickup. Trying to surprise him with some accessories. What does the exhaust tips do? Is it strictly stylish or change the sound slightly when started? Please advise. Thanks

Exhaust tips like the MagnaFlow 4" Exhaust Tip # MF35212 are purely decorative. They would not change the sound at all.

You'd need to go with a cat-back system like the part # MF19018 if you wanted to change the sound. This also comes with a nicer looking exhaust tip too. It will increase performance as well. I realize as a gift this might be a bit pricey, but maybe he's your favorite son...

This fits all of the gas engine versions of the 2018 Chevy Colorado as well.
