Question:
Forrest river 2013 While retracting my awning it made a grinding sound. I took the motor gearbox apart and it looks like the plastic gear that is driven by the worm gear Has wore a groove in it and will not engage. Can i buy the plastic gear seperate and is this a common problem. I only used the awning awining about 30 times

We have gear repair kits for the Solera power awnings with part # LC353964 but these gears are metal and you'd have to have a Solera power awning head. Can you see the brand that you have?
