Do stowngo caravans require a different hitch? Will a hitch from a 2006 Caravan with stowngo fit the 2017 caravan with stowngo?

There is a generation change between a 2006 and 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan so you'd have to go with a new hitch for the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. The etrailer.com hitch part # E98854 that you referenced would be what you would need for a 2 inch hitch and would work well.
