Installation of Solid Step Manual Fold-Down Steps # LC678027 Without Threshold Lip

Question:

Does the doorway have to have a lip on the threshold for installation? This item is similar to the MORryde steps and they require a lip on the threshold for install. My 5th wheel does not have lip.

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps # LC791575 do not require a lip on the threshold. They will work well with or without a lip as the mounting is flush and the hinge is a minimal rise. I've attached a video to assist so you can see the minimal impact of the hinge so you can see a lip at the threshold is not required.
