Question:
What are the differences between the Curt and DrawTite hitches for my 2018 Outback Wagon. I like the round look of the Curt hitch but I see a note that talks about a stabilizing strap and I want to use it to carry my bike rack.

The differences that you noted are really the only difference between the Curt # C13206 and the Draw-Tite # 75673 trailer hitches for your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon. The Curt has the round tube style but does require the support strap # 18050 for all non-trailer loads (like your bike rack) while the Draw-Tite has a square tube style and doesn't require the use of the strap.
I have a 3rd option for you that combines the features that you like! The etrailer.com trailer hitch # e98847 uses the round tube style just like the Curt but it doesn't require the use of the support strap like the Draw-Tite. It installs the exact same way and has the same design as the Curt option but it features a rugged, matte black powder coat finish instead.
Attached is a sample installation video on a 2015 Outback Wagon as well as the installation instructions for you to check out.
I also recommend using the etrailer.com Rubber Hitch Cover # 22282 when not carrying your bike rack to help keep the trailer hitch receiver in good shape.
