How to Test Power Output for the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160
Question:
will display of brake power level show when trailer is not connected? only getting n.c. display. b1,2,3 comes up.level bars working. can i test out put voltage at truck plug?[disconnected]

From what I could find in the linked instructions it looks like the display will keep reading n.c. even if you are using the override manual. You can still test the output voltage of the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 at the 5 o'clock pin of your 7-Way though.
What you need to do is move the power wheel (rotate with upwards motion) to increase the power level to max and then use the override manual lever to send power back to your 7-Way. If you use a multimeter like part # PTW1714 you can then determine how much voltage is being sent back from your controller. If everything is working correctly then you should see about 12V (maybe a little more ) on that pin.
