How to Use the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch on a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500

I have the Companion and I am buying a new truck and have to go to the Patriot because the new truck is a short box and I may have to use the wedge that is on the Reese Revolution My new truck is a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 short box

In order to use the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3200 16,000 lbs or part # BWRVK3255 18,000 lbs on your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, I recommend using the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit part # RP50064-58 as long as you do not have the MagneRide suspension. This kit is a custom fit so no drilling into the frame will be required.
Since you will be using the B&W Patriot with the Reese Sidewinder you will also want to use the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge part # SWW-06.
