The Blue Ox base plate # BX1307 is not a confirmed fit from the manufacturer. My recommendation for your Mini S hardtop is the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 521877-1 which has been confirmed to fit.

For your tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 and then the coiled safety cables # RM-643.

For your wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster LED Bulb and Socket Kit # RM-152-LED. This will have you add LED's to your tail light housing for a clean look. I recommend connecting this kit to the RoadMaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7 and using charge line kit # RM-156-25 to charge your Mini Cooper battery while towing.

For your supplemental braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. This system is a customer favorite because it becomes plug and play after installation and is completely out of the way when not in use. You will also need the stop light switch # RM-751440 to allow the motorhome brake-monitoring system to activate.
