Question:
What is the length between the top of the unit, and the highest point of the steps rail guide? My concern is the guide rail will interfere with the step mount bracket/walls that are currently welded to my RV frame.

I went out to the warehouse and found that from the top of the mounting bracket to the top of the guide rail measured 5-3/8" for the Lippert # LC432682 steps. I have attached a photo to demonstrate this.
Question:
Thank you! Unfortunately bracket on my Coleman Lantern LT 17FQ drops down slightly lower than 5 3/8", so it would block the step's rail from clearing that high point of the guide. You saved me the trouble of a return from trial and error.

If you really like these Lippert steps and but the mounting brackets that are currently on your Coleman aren't compatible we actually have the Lippert Outriggers # LC301704 that you can install on your Coleman. These provide the exact mounting bolt hole locations that you need to mount the Lippert stairs.
