Question:
A friend of mine just mentioned he has a new trailer hitch and harness from his 2001 Chevy Impala that I can have, will this hitch and harness fit on a 2007 Nissan Altima sedan? Or how about a 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan?

Trailer hitches usually have very specific applications, a hitch from a 2001 Chevy Impala would not also fit on a 2007 Nissan Altima or a 2005 Honda Odyssey.
For your 2007 Nissan Altima you would want a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 24796. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for this product for you to check out also.
