What trailer hitch do you recommend for me to carry my motorcycle with my 2019 Odyssey? I will have it loaded on a small trailer.

To tow a small trailer with your 2019 Honda Odyssey I recommend using the Class III Draw-Tite # 76171 because it has a 2" receiver with the highest weight ratings. These are well over the ratings for your Odyssey so you will be limited by your vehicle instead of the trailer hitch. Another plus of using this trailer hitch is that it has a tab welded on it for installing the wiring connector for your trailer lights.

For wiring I recommend the Tekonsha T-One # 118781 because of how easy it is to install and how reliable we have found the Tekonsha wiring to be. This simply plugs in behind one of the panels in your rear cargo area (see attached installation video). If your trailer only has a 4-Way then you can use the mounting bracket # 18144.

If your trailer has brakes then in addition to the T-One you also need to install the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This comes with all of the wiring and connectors needed for a fully-functioning 7-Way. The 7-Way then allows you to install a brake controller. For this I recommend the Curt Echo # C51180 which is a small unit that does not require any hardwiring as it connects to Apple and Android phones via Bluetooth. Check out the linked video for more information on this controller.

To complete your towing setup you also need a ball mount kit like the etrailer.com # 989900. This kit gives you a 1-7/8" and 2" hitch ball as well as two ball mounts; one with a 3/4" rise/2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise/4" drop. You will want to check out the linked ball mount article to ensure taht this kit is the correct one for your towing application.
