Shank Recommendation for Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution for Additional Drop
Question:
Currently have a dealer installed 2 year old Equalizer sway hitch on a 2011 Toyota 4runner and 2017 16foot Airstream Sport. Works great except the trailer is still a little high about 2inch at the tongue. The adjustable receiver shank is already mounted at the bottom hole 6 hole total . Are lower shanks available?

Yes there are weight distribution shanks that give you the additional drop you'll need so that your trailer can be towed level. Since you most likely have the # EQ90-02-4500 which is what comes with the Equal-i-Zer kits the shank we offer that would give you a few more inches of drop would be the part # EQ90-02-4300 and you'd be set.
