Are Diodes Required When Converting Trailer Wiring From Incandescent to LED

All Im doing is replacing regular old incandescent tail lights 2 x 6 ovals with the same 2 by 6 ovals with 20 or 22 LEDs in a small trailer. It only has two tail lights nothing more, all I want to do is is swap them out so do I just wire that thing up like normal white to white, Brown goes to the blacks so that would probably be like the tail lights and then the green goes on the right and yellow goes to the left to the red wires on each of the lights. As I understand it the red wire is for turn signal and brake light so would that be the way that the way its done? Are there any resistors that need 2 B added? Thanks

Unlike when installing LED lights on a vehicle you would not have to add diodes when replacing incandescents in trailer lighting to LED. You can just wire in the new lights the same as the old ones and everything will work fine.
