Is Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Kit Compatible with a 2014 BMW X1
Question:
Hi there, I have a 2014 BMW X1 28IX Drive. I have part number 56146 and 55151 but I am getting different information whether or not this is the right part for my vehicle. Can you comform if this I compatable? Thanks

The Curt Upgraded Circuit Protected Powered Tail Light Converter w Hardwire Kit # C59496 actually replaced the discontinued part 56146 and the Powered Converter Wiring Kit # 55151 that you have. Both of these are compatible with your 2014 BMW X1 which you can see from the attached installation video of the older kit you have on a 2014 BMW X1.
The thing about this kit is that its a universal fit since you splice the wiring in so it is compatible with just about any vehicle out there.
