Question:
I’m looking into getting a roof rack for my 2016 Ford Edge to carry skis and snowboards. My car does not have a sunroof and I believe it has a naked roof but there is a little ledge on the side. I am in over my head when it comes to roof racks so I’m hoping you can tell me what it’ll take to haul my winter sports gear. Thank you!

Thanks for the picture of your 2016 Ford Edge. Looks like you have a totally naked roof on your 2016 Ford Edge so the roof rack I recommend is the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK432. I recommend this rack because it has aerodynamic bars which will minimize wind noise, it installs easily, and you get the quality of the super expensive racks at a better price.
For a ski/snowboard carrier we then have the Thule SnowPack part # TH7324 for 4 skis/2 boards or the part # TH7325 for 6 skis or 4 boards. I really like this rack because of how easy it is to use/install and how well it secures the boards/skis.
