Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Engine Cooler Kit part # D15660 will fit your 2013 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L v8 engine. In order to install this oil cooler you will need to use the included adapter with the green paint marking. The Derale Hyper-Cool will do an excellent job of providing you with reduced engine oil temperatures. These reduced engine oil temperatures will be especially important when towing a heavy trailer as engine oil temperatures increase while under load which then leads to the breakdown of oil that in turn negatively affects the engine's longevity. The best part of all is the included fan which will provide sufficient cooling power no matter the state of motion or amount of airflow to the vehicle's front end.
