Question:
i am looking at two different rack systems for my 2019 honda pilot, either the thule square bar th712500 system with trans.foot and 1811 kit or the Rhino bar system with the 2500 legs, adapt. kit and DK fit kit. I would like to know the crossbar spread from front to back for both systems for my 2019 Honda pilot so as to make the best choice between the two, thanks

For your 2019 Honda Pilot, the Thule SquareBar Crossbars 60 inch # TH712500, Thule Rapid Traverse Roof-Rack Foot Pack # TH480R, and Fit Kit # THKIT1811 has a crossbar spread of 31.13 inch. With this kit I also recommend adding locks # TH450400.
The Rhino-Rack system consisting of the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Crossbars # RRVA137B-2, 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA, and Custom Fit Kit # DK444 have a crossbar spread of 31.5 inches.
The difference is very small and won't really impact any accessory use but the wind noise difference will be noticeable. The biggest difference to consider is the crossbar length. The Rhino-Rack will be much narrower at 54 inches than the Thule bars at 60 inches. That is a difference of 3 inches on each end which is far more significant. Both are a custom fit for your vehicle so they won't appear odd, that is just the biggest difference between the two options other than the price point.
