Hello, My Honda Ridgeline truck has a 7-pin trailer plug next to its class 3 hitch. I do need to connect my Reese brake controller under the dash. Will I need a connect a connector harness and which part is it? All information about such an installation will be helpful. Thanks much

If your 2014 Honda Ridgeline is equipped with the factory 7-Way connector then you can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3070-P for a plug-and-play installation as long as your particular Reese controller accepts a plug in the back. If you can tell me what model brake controller you have I will be happy to verify this.
One end of the adapter will plug into the Reese brake controller and the other end will connect to the factory port behind the dash of your Ridgeline. I have attached a sample install video with this harness on a different brake controller just so you can see the process.
