Trailer Brake Controller Installation in 2008 Chevy Silverado with Factory 7-Way
Question:
I am not the biggest do it yourselfinch but Im trying to save some bucks. My 2008 silverado comes with a factory 7way plug for a trailer. When i received this part it looks like it is plug and play...so where would i find the receiver so i can just plug up this piece and be ready to go?...or is that wayyyy too simple and do i need to find the wires and splice and connect?

To install the Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Time Delayed # 39523 will use the wiring harness # 20127 to splice into wires under your dash that have already been run. I've attached a simple video to assist with this installation which you will be able to do. I've also attached an article with pictures to help. You will simply use butt connectors # 05731-5.
