Will etrailer.com Hub and Drum Assembly AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K Fit 5,200 lb Axle

Will this drum assembly fit a 5200 axle on a toy hauler?

The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K does have the same bearings and seal that you would find for one that fits a 5,200 axle so it should work. Even though this is the case it is always best to double check before purchasing.

Pull your hub and verify that you have a # 25580 inner bearing, # 14125A outer bearing, and grease seal like part # GS-2250DL with an inner diameter (ID) of 2.25". If this is the case then you are good to go! If you can find parts numbers then simply use a digital caliper and measure your spindle to the third decimal (1.234 for example) and compare that with the parts for this hub/drum assembly. The ID of the inner bearing is 1.75", the ID of the outer bearing is 1.25", and the ID of the grease seal is 2.25" like I mentioned above.

Attached is a photo showing where you need to take these measurements on the spindle.
